The solid-liquid screw separating press is an innovative solid-liquid equipment. Special design features (such as compensatory hopper trough, self-regulating back pressure film and special helix) enable it to handle various materials in biogas plants, industrial processing and animal husbandry mud. Because of the special SINT engineering polymer screw design, the separator can be easily used for various materials and purposes. The screen basket with special shape can realize self-cleaning and reduce wear and tear.

Structural principle

The separator includes a feeding component with a compensating groove and an overflow hopper. The stainless steel housing includes a screw conveyor (inside a cylindrical screen basket) for conveying material to the outlet. The sieve basket separates the solid phase from the flowing liquid phase by pressing the solid into the outlet (where two back-pressure films form a material plug). This enables the separator to operate automatically to avoid liquid phase washout.
