Innovative Attempt in Four Links of Sludge Treatment and Disposal

In recent years, Wilp Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. has accumulated a lot of experience and experience in the main process of sludge treatment and disposal and the restoration of black and odorous water. In the 2017 (11th) Water Industry Hotspot Forum, Wilp environmental executives analyzed the pain points of the sludge industry to the participants, and shared some of Wilp's environmental protection product innovations:


At present, there are three main problems in China, one is the consistent policy, the other is the policy and institutional issues, and there is a very critical common technology and equipment to be broken through. Wilp has been engaged in technical research and industrial development of sewage sludge treatment and disposal in recent years. Today, we will analyze some hot and painful issues in this industry, elaborate some of them from our point of view, and then share with you some of our technical product development and innovation. This time there are two main lines, one is the main process of sewage treatment and disposal, and the second is the content of black and odorous water body restoration.

Sludge treatment and disposal

precipitate:In the treatment and disposal of sludge, there are mainly such links as precipitation, concentration, dehydration, stabilization, conditioning, drying and the final disposal of sludge resource. In terms of sedimentation, there are advection sedimentation, auxiliary flow sedimentation, vertical flow sedimentation and efficient sedimentation technologies. The existing sedimentation tanks are fixed inlet and outlet points. During the operation process, water is constantly flowing. We hope that the state of water flow is as stable as possible, laminar flow rather than steady flow. In the actual work, it is not an ideal state, which results in its overall efficiency, not as high as we think in theory.

In the whole sewage plant, the sediment tank covers a large area, and with the improvement of our water table, there are also requirements for the reduction of suspended solids. If this aspect is improved, it will be very valuable to the whole industry. This year, in cooperation with Tongji University, we launched a static flow sedimentation tank, which is characterized by the collection of water intake and drainage at points. During the operation of the sedimentation tank, it seems that every point of water is static, so the water in the tank is equivalent to static sedimentation, and the cement only goes down. This is a great breakthrough in technology, which should bring innovation to the precipitation technology of the whole industry.

Concentrate:Many sewage treatment plants used to be gravity concentrated, but now there are many small factories do not build gravity concentrated ponds, there are many reasons. Existing concentration technologies include centrifugal concentration, gravity concentration, belt concentration and drum concentration. We need to concentrate not only at the level of 97% to 95%, but also at the level of 93% or even 90%. Because many conditions of deep dewatering into the mud are expected to have 90% or 93% of such an effect; including our anaerobic digestion front end, we also need such a concentration.

Dehydration:The conventional meaning of dewatering is to reduce the water content of sludge to about 80%, and now it is increasing the depth of dewatering, to 80%. For many small and medium-sized wastewater treatment plants, it is unrealistic to dispose of all the sludge, and the cost is too high. In sludge dewatering, there are many types of dewatering equipment, the most commonly used centrifuge in the industry, belt machine, disc wheel (sound) concentrator. Wilp this year, the laminated screw sludge dewatering machine has undergone a great transformation.

The key of the screw-type sludge dewaterer is the screw shaft and the movable ring. His main problem at present is how to improve his life. We have improved the surface hardness of the machine itself, sprayed wear-resistant materials on the surface, and surfacing high-stearin wear-resistant metal materials to ensure its life in 7 to 8 years. The same is true for fixed and moving rings, mainly to improve stability. Most of the laminated screw sludge dewaterers are traditional movable and fixed rings, and we use four-cornered rings, whose strength is much better than the original structure strength. At the same time, in the material, we use our own high-strength steel to ensure the stability of use.

At the same time, we will also encounter a lot of corrosive conditions, so we introduced CFRP carbon fiber anticorrosive materials, product performance is stable, and after standardization, serialization. Through continuous summary, we have introduced standard, inorganic and special fruit and vegetable products. At the same time, we cooperate with other Internet of Things companies, through the means of Internet of Things, mining equipment and field data from the enterprise's internal and technical centers, service centers, to provide data support for further optimization and upgrading of products.

Stabilization:In sludge stabilization, our company has not done much work in this area, but they have very good ideas about hot water hydrolysis and anaerobic digestion in Tongji environment. Another is our company's sludge high drying dewatering or hot drying, both of which are to remove as much water as possible inside the sludge, from the market point of view, we choose more places or high temperature dewatering, the market has his reason. Our high-pressure elastic press provides the industry with a second alternative to the high-pressure diaphragm press, which can also be called the best choice. Our first generation is plate-frame box press, the second generation is diaphragm press, and the third generation is high-pressure elastic press. These are some of our control strategies, which can save half of the whole operation cycle.


Repair of black and odorous water body

In the restoration of black and odorous water, we have also done some work, such as pollution interception, silt removal and so on. In terms of silt removal, we reduce the water content to less than 40% by mechanical means. Cooperative silt removal process is fast and efficient. The high-pressure press we introduced can also be used in this process.

In addition, Wilp Environmental Protection recently launched a new water restoration technology - indigenous diatom water restoration technology with the development of German University and Tongji University. Diatom is currently the world's largest supplier of oxygen, which accounts for 40% of the Earth's oxygen supply. By Directional Cultivation of diatoms, we can make them reproduce in large quantities in the water, and provide oxygen for plankton and other aquatic organisms in the water, so that the water can be slowly repaired. Diatoms are also very helpful in the restoration of nitrogen and phosphorus in water. It is safe, efficient and economical to use diatoms for water restoration.
